Pokémon Legends: Arceus (Switch):

A nice step out of the normal as you visit an ancient land and help create the first PokeDex

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (Switch):

A new and fun adventure that introduces new powers and tools to explore the new lands.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (PS5):

If you have been lucky enough to get a PS5 and are a fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, then this is a must. It is another great addition to the Ratchet and Clank series and stays faithful to the series.

Marvel Spider-Man (PS4):

Little bias here since Insomniac has made several game series I love and this version of the web slinger is so well done. With a great story and a city to explore this is a game you can easily lose yourself too.

Slime Rancher (Steam, XBox One, PS4, Switch):

A cute game set in far off place where you make your fortune by herding cute little slims and selling their…poop. On top of earn some cash, you will also be rewarded for exploring the new world and discovering new spots to find resources and slims to raise. 

Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle (Switch):

An oddball crossover with some good humor and a descent base for a turn base tactics game. Has a fun DLC story bringing Donkey Kong into the mix.

Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy (PS4, PC, Switch, XBox One):

Crash was one of my favorite games growing up and is what got me really into gaming. The level diversity will keep you entertain as you play through all 3 games. 

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy (PS4, Steam, Switch, XBox One):

As a fan for the purple dragon since the PS1 days I am so excited to see these games on current consoles and PC for others to enjoy. All 3 adventures offer up a great time for those new or returning to the adventure-platforming genre. 

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memories (Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC *Epic Game Store*):

A pretty fun action/rhythm game that takes you through the story of Kingdom Hearts while playing some of your favorite music of the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Switch):

A fun adventure on a mysterious island awaits you and will keep you busy exploring every location.

Stardew Valley (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Mobile):

I put in a lot of time into this game and the hours can fly by as you grow crops, mine, fish and build bonds with the townsfolk. This game is still getting updates and continues to grow and is another great game to play with friends and family.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and PC *via Battlenet*):

If you are a fan of the Crash Bandicoot series and have been waiting for a new one then this game is for you. Toy For Bob did a great job at capturing the fun and challenge of the original crash games and added a few new twist to it.

Guacamelee! (Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC)

A super fun side scroller brawler as you save the world as a masked wrestler.

Guacamelee! 2 (Switch, Steam, PS4 and Xbox One)

A great follow up to a the first game and grows on a great foundation.

Super Mario Odyssey (Switch):

One of the many reasons to own a Switch, Super Mario Odyssey is a grand 3D adventure through various worlds to explore as you once again stop Bowser’s evil plot. 

Paper Mario: The Origami King (Switch):

A fun and beautifully looking game. Combat sadly goes from the extreme of easy to hard with no real middle ground. This game by itself is a decent one and I hope the Item Base combat stays as they more on with the series.

Good Job! (Switch):

Complete varies task but either carefully navigating through the office or create a new door by launching a printer through the wall.

Digimon Story Cyber  Sleuth(PS4, PSVita, PC, Switch):

Enter and save both the Digital World and the real world from strange virus. This crazy and fun story made for Digimon fans.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Membory (PS4, PC, Switch):

A different side of the Cyber Sleuth Story. Uncover the mystery of Digimon as you try to find the person that stole your account and framed you for crimes you didn’t commit.

Battle Chef Brigade (PS4, PC, Switch):

A beautiful game that combines 2D action with match 3 cooking. Game has a good story and great cast that will make you wanting for once it is done. 

Wandersong (PS4, PC, Switch):

One of my favorite indie games that has release over the past couple of years. Wandersong takes you on a colorful journey as you fellow the story of a young bard that goes against all odds to try to save the world. 

Spiritfarer (PC, PS4, Switch, XBox One):

A laid back game about helping spirits leave the afterlife. From the same folks behind Jotun, this game is a joy to look at and listen to.

No Straight Roads (PC, PS4, XBox One, Switch):

Fun action-adventure game about a small indie band taking on an EDM Empire. The world and characters are fun and I hope there is a sequel to this game to expand on it.

Nefarious (PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch):

Time for the roles to be swapped. This time you are the villain trying to take over the world. Nefarious is a fun experience I think many will enjoyed.

Minit (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Mobile):

A short and unique game that is played 60 seconds at a time.

The Gardens Between (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Mobile):

Follow the story of two friends by solving the time base puzzles to change the world around you.

Overcooked 2 (Steam, XBox One, PS4, Switch):

A fun and chaotic game about working together to save the kingdom from the Unbread. Overcooked 2 has been a great party game local and online play sessions with friends and working together (or at least trying to) to overcome some crazy kitchen setup is crazy fun.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Switch):

Take the role of Captain Toad and journey across the land; solving puzzles and collection treasure.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled (PS4, Xbox One, Switch):

CTR: Nitro-Fueled brings the fun that Crash Team Racing had on the PS1 to current gen consoles. Game offers a lot of content to play through and characters to chose from though it will be a bit of a grid to earn them.

Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee (Switch):

A great re-telling of events of Pokemon Yellow, Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee I believe is a great way to introduce newer players to the series.  Makes for a great first Pokemon game for people new to the series.

ABZU (PS4, Steam, XBox One, Switch):

A beautiful game that takes you through a amazing under water world. Great game to zen out to and just take in the environment.

Armello (PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mobile):

A 4 player digital board game where you take the role of Hero and must save the kingdom from the corrupted King. A fun and beautifully looking game that I have put in so many hours into.
