As another year starts, figure I would think about what games I would like to see release or at least announced within the next 12 months. This will be a short post so let’s get into.

First thing on my wish list is either an update or the release of Digimon Survive. Digimon Survive was announced a back in 2018 and looked to be a turn base combat with a permanent death mechanic maybe. As of now it has been delayed until Spring of this year so hopefully that will still happen but I would love to see more trailers of the game before then.

Staying in the realm of Digimon, the new Digimon TCG is officially being released this year to the rest of the world and I would love for them to release a digital version of the game. Based on the other TCG Bandai has released I don’t think will happen but I think it would help with the spread of the game.

One of my favorite games that released in 2020 was Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and with that it gave me a little hope that Spyro will get a new game in the next couple of years. I think Toys for Bob has done a great job with the Spyro Collection and the new Crash game; I would be interested to see what they do for a new Spryo game.

This next wish is probably the least likely to happen, but I would love another game like Puppeteer or at the very least a Switch port because I would love to play that game on the go. Puppeteer was a PS3 exclusive and one of my favorite games of all time and I would like to see this game get more love.

To wrap up my Gaming Wishlist for this year, here is a series of games I would like to see a sequel or a new one in the series:

Wandersong sequel: would like to go on another adventure as a bard.

Battle Chef Brigade sequel: A nice mix of action and match 3 cooking that would be expanded a bit more.

Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle: a cross-over I never thought I would like but would be interesting to revisit this world and maybe add some characters from other series.

Guacamelee sequel: such a fun series and I would like to see another game in the series.
