Welcome back to another entry of me talking about games I may or may not complete. This will be a shorter post as October again was a busy and I was trying to focus on fighting games for Fight-tober, a month that was suppose to focus on fighting games and sadly I only played two over the past 30 days but it was a nice change of pace. However, we are going to first talk about a game that I actually finished.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Switch):
I finally sat down and may of looked up some info online, but I finally finished Link’s Awakening on the Switch and it was a pretty fun time and I hope they do more games in that style. For my full thoughts on the game, you can check that out here!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch):
Smash Bros. is a game I play from time to time and when the news of the last DLC character was going to be announced I figure I was a good time to play more of the game. As a Kingdom Hearts fan, I was really excited and really surprised the Sora made it into Smash. Especially, given it was a character that fell under the umbrella of Square Enix and Disney, but they did it is cool. Sora is fun to play for me, given the recovery and the rotating magic special. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a super crazy cross in gaming and I thought it would be interesting to think the game could be in an alternate universe were licensing wasn’t an issue (I know crazy thought) and you can read what the roster of that game would be here.
Nickelodeon All-Start Brawl (Switch):
Nickelodeon wasn’t my prefer channel for characters growing up, but it did produce shows like Danny Phantom and the Avatar the Last Airbender series that I really enjoyed. So when there was going to be a party brawling like game, I figure I give it a try. Overall the game is good, I do think that the movement of character feels sluggish at times but that could just be me. The game plays well enough and as it gets patch files and maybe a few more characters it could grow into a great game.
I would like to say life will slow down, but given we are entering the holiday season, will try to make time play more games especially with the Pokémon remake coming out and I am making November, Poke-vember and will be creating Pokémon theme blog post and will be giving out codes for the Pokémon TCG Online on my twitter for the entire month. With that all said remember to Stay Safe, Be Kind and Game On!
